Trained as a stage dancer at the Staatliche Ballettschule Berlin, holder of a degree in philosophy from Humboldt-Universität Berlin; experience in teaching, performing and directing across Europe in the fields of dance, pantomime, physical theatre, clownery, mask play and acting; teaching appointments at the Hochschule für Schauspielkunst "Ernst Busch" Berlin (Puppetry).
Publications: The textbook "Anatomie der Pantomime" (“Anatomy of the Pantomime“, relaunch 2016) and, together with the Swiss choreographer Christian Mattis, the workbook "Bewegung inszenieren" („Directing Movement“, 2017)

Focus of training
The sensible use of tension and relaxation; the development of axis and balance; working with isolations and body waves. We will train strength and elasticity, coordination and movement consciousness; we will use and train elements from the field of mime and body language. We will work towards awareness and analysis of movement and thereby we will seek for connections between inner (felt/experienced) and outer (readable, thus actorial) body posture. We will develop a consciousness for rhythm as a crucial aspect of body language and acting.
